Things to do in West Palm Beach

Cruises

A West Palm beach cruise should be non-negotiable during your vacation, especially if you’re looking for a romantic activity to experience with your significant other. Sunset cruises give you the perfect opportunity to de-stress and drink while listening to music and watching the sunset.

Although most sunset cruises last less than a few hours, they serve beer, wine, soda, and light snacks. You’ll also be able to take in the gorgeous views of Palm Beach Island, waterway vistas, and the million dollar homes on the other side of the coast.

Both Clematis by Night and the flea market run from 6 to 9pm every Thursday, so bring along a few friends to relax with.

The Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society

The Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society is open daily from 9am to 5pm. The Zoo offers a variety of unique experiences and even allows you to book behind-the-scenes experiences with your favorite animals.

You can choose to get up close and personal with koalas, sloths, flamingos, capybaras, and more. The Zoo also hosts events year-round, including interactive educational experiences for children. Since you’ll be able to see animals you won’t be able to see anywhere else, the Zoo is a must-try experience, especially if you’re traveling with family.

The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium

If you’re traveling with family, you need to visit The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium. The Science Center offers different activities and educational opportunities for children of all ages. In addition, the Science Center has a 10,000 gallon aquarium, allowing you to see and learn about the native fish of Florida.

If you’re not that interested in aquatic life, try visiting the exhibit featuring life-size animatronic dinosaurs, the planetarium, the observatory, or the space artifact exhibit.

Northwood Village

If you’re looking for unique places to shop and eat, look no further. Northwood Village is a well-known food and shopping district in West Palm Beach with one-of-a-kind boutiques (perfect for souvenirs) and restaurants you won’t be able to find anywhere else.

If you’re looking for somewhere to eat in Northwood Village, you should make time to try the Grilled Cheese Gallery, which features countless grilled cheese combinations on their menu. If you’re more interested in shopping, make sure to check out the Row House Shop.

Everyone needs time off from work once in a while. Time off gives you the perfect chance to refresh and recharge and enables you to return with a new perspective and increased productivity.
